FIREARM HUNTER SAFETY COURSES 2022

Home Study Courses (2 Days – Old School with a twist) – Meet two days:

First Day – (Saturday) from 8 AM to 2 PM

Second Day – (Saturday) from 8 AM to 2 PM

The cost of the course is $10.00 per student.

REGISTRATION LIMIT IS 20 – IF YOU HAVEN’T PAID, YOU’RE NOT REGISTERED

Total Course = 10 hours

• Admin Tasks and Introduction = 30 Minutes
• Conservation/Landowner/Ethics = 1 1/2 Hours
• Laws = 30 Minutes
• Survival Kit Items and Homework = 30 Minute
• Introduction to Firearms = 2 Hours
• Handling Firearms = 30 Minutes
• Tree Stand Safety/Blood Trailing/Fence Crossing = 1 Hour
• Map & Compass = 1 Hour
• Survival = 1 Hour
• Self Help First Aid = 20 Minute
• Invasive Plants & Species = 10 Minutes

Please dress for the weather as some training will be done outside.

For lunch, please bring your own. There is a sandwich/convenience store close by. We have chips and sodas for sale at the club.
