The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA-affiliation. This traditional, instructor-led course will teach students the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for the safe use of a pistol in target shooting

•  Essentials of gun safety
•  Pistol parts and operation
•  Basics of ammunition
•  Fundamentals of pistol shooting
•  Fundamentals of pistol maintenance
•  Range exercise/Hands on practical

THIS COURSE IS LIMITED TO 10 PARTICIPANTS

What to Bring to Class

•  Don’t run out and buy supplies if you don’t have them, we will be talking about gear during class.
•  Semi-Automatic, Revolver Pistol at least 50 rounds of factory ammunition (more is better if possible).
•  Eye and Ear protection
•  Shoes – No open toed shoes
•  Classroom supplies if desired

* If you don’t currently have a pistol, please let us know we will have a pistol and ammunition for a small additional fee.

The class is rain or shine please dress for the weather, we will be inside the classroom for a while and then out of the range. It is recommended to dress in layers. We will be talking about knowledge and skills, but it is up to you to bring the positive attitude.
