The NRA Range Safety Officer program was developed in response to the demand for a nationally recognized range safety officer certification. NRA Range Safety Officers are people who possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations.
The NRA Range Safety Officer Class is Instructor-led training that teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to become certified as a Range Safety Officer.

• NRA policies and procedures
• RSO Roles and Responsibilities
• Range Standard Operating Procedures
• Range Rules and Inspections
• Firearm stoppages and clearing
• Emergency procedures
THIS COURSE IS LIMITED TO 10 PARTICIPANTS
What to Bring to Class
• Shoes – No open toed shoes
• Classroom supplies if desired
The class is rain or shine please dress for the weather, we will be inside the classroom for a while and then out of the range. It is recommended to dress in layers. We will be talking about knowledge and skills, but it is up to you to bring the positive attitude.
