Participation in an ATV or snowmobile education course will teach users how to properly operate and maintain an ATV / snowmobile. Laws, responsibilities, and personal safety will also be covered.

Maine law requires a person 10 years of age or older but under 16 years of age to successfully complete a training program, with that person’s parent or guardian prior to operating on land other than that owned or leased by their parent or guardian or on which they live.

Students under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
