The 2024 Great Equalizer Invitational is a unique action pistol-based event intended to push the boundaries of competitive shooting among the able-bodied and wheelchair-based members of the competitive shooting community.

Improve your skills, build lasting friendships, and help foster the growth of the adaptive shooting community by participating in this first-of-its-kind competitive shooting event.

By pairing an able-bodied competitor with a wheelchair-based competitor, teams will push their skills to the limit as they work together to shoot a 6-stage action pistol match with both competitors operating solely from a wheelchair.

Competition Skill Builder

Prepare for precision under pressure with our competition skills class focusing on hitting targets accurately from challenging and diverse positions. Engage in interactive scenarios that hone judgment, decision-making, and a range of shooting techniques.

This course serves as ideal preparation for The Great Equalizer action pistol match, providing an opportunity to put newly acquired skills to the test. Expect to master nonstandard shooting positions, including those from wheelchairs, chairs, and various ground positions.

This advanced class caters to both adaptive and able-bodied shooters eager to refine their competitive edge. Don't miss out on this opportunity to elevate your competition skills!

Required Materials

•   Competition or concealment sidearm (semiautomatic or revolver)
•   Competition or concealment holster, suitable belt or chair mount
•   4-6 magazines or speed loaders, and magazine pouches
•   350 Rounds of ammunition
•   Wrap around eye protection and hearing protection
